Experience / Qualifications
24 months mechanical engineering experience required
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain proficiency in and maintain skills in use of CAE software including: SolidWorks, Creo, ANSYS, etc.
- Represent Davinci in a professional and ethical manner to the customer and prospect base.
- Deploy design verification methods such as FEA & CFD analysis, tolerance analysis, and rapid prototyping to ensure design functionality.
- Deploy cost saving methods for designs such as design for manufacturability, design for assembly, fabrication process selection.
- General computer skills including MS Office, MS Project, and MS Access to create appropriate project related design information for customer.
- Working in multi-disciplined teams to achieve customer design requirements and specification.
- Ensure high quality and timely completion of all projects.
- Expand and technically augment Product Design & Design Engineering business within Davinci.
- Perform at all levels of the product development and project management process including design, technician, fabrication, drafting, parts procurement and vendor selection as needed.
- Establish design specifications, material selection, and potential suppliers with regards to product design.
- Be the primary interface between Davinci and its customers.
- Through pre-existing personal connections and network, as well as Davinci existing connections and network, conscientiously and exclusively sell and implement the services offered by Davinci, with a focus on art to part product development and design engineering.
